Getting to Folkerton Mill for an Event

By Organised Coach: All weddings at Folkerton Mill include complimentary coach transport for guests. Your hosts will be able to provide collection points and timings. We kindly encourage guests to make use of the coach wherever possible. As a rural venue, parking is limited, and travelling together helps us minimise traffic and local disturbance, reduce our environmental impact and ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the celebrations without worrying about getting to and from the venue. It's just one of the ways we help create a more sustainable and stress-free wedding experience.

By Car: Parking is extremely limited so please make use of the complimentary coach (details above) or book a taxi. Available spaces inside the venue are reserved for blue badge holders and suppliers. For others, there is space to park on the public road adjacent to Folkerton Mill. As this is a rural road with no pavement, we ask that guests take extra care if parking here with cars tucked right in on the verge. By Train or Bus: Lanark stations for both bus and train are just a 15-minute taxi ride away.

By Taxi: Local taxi services need pre-booking, especially for return journeys. We recommend that you book with a company local to where you are travelling to and from. Recommended companies that cover a large area locally to us are Go Travel Scotland and Richland Minibuses.

By Air: We're roughly 30 miles from Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports.
